Delivering Consistent, Connected Workspaces
Background
Publicis Sapient is a global digital business transformation company that helps organisations reinvent their businesses through technology, data, strategy and customer experience design.
Display Manager has worked with Publicis for more than 25 years, delivering audio visual and collaboration solutions. Display Manager was appointed to deliver the audio visual technology for the refurbishment of Publicis Sapient’s offices at Turnmills in London. Working alongside Modus Workspace Services, the project was structured across three phases to create modern, flexible workspaces that support collaboration, communication and hybrid working.
Although directly appointed by Publicis, Display Manager worked closely with the wider project team to deliver an integrated technology solution, with phases one and two completed on time and within budget.
The Vision
The refurbishment required a consistent, easy-to-use collaboration experience across a diverse range of spaces, from small meeting rooms and informal breakout areas to larger design studios and an event space.
The solution needed to support hybrid meetings, presentations and creative collaboration while making effective use of existing equipment wherever possible. Standardising the user experience across meeting rooms was also a priority, helping employees move between spaces without having to learn different systems.
The Solution
Display Manager designed and integrated a flexible audio visual solution across the building, tailored to the requirements of each room while maintaining a consistent approach to collaboration and control.
Standardised Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms of varying sizes were equipped with dual-screen video conferencing, enabling participants to view meeting content and remote attendees simultaneously. Poly Studio video conferencing systems, touch-screen controls and room booking panels provide an intuitive, consistent experience across the office.
The solution accommodates small meetings through to larger boardroom-style gatherings, with technology scaled to suit each room’s capacity and requirements.
Creative Design Studios
Dedicated design studios were equipped to support collaborative workshops, creative reviews and presentations. Large-format dual displays, intelligent camera systems and integrated audio capture help teams share ideas and work together effectively, whether participants are in the room or joining remotely.
Flexible Collaboration Spaces
Smaller meeting rooms and informal soft-seating areas provide additional options for quick discussions, focused collaboration and video calls. These spaces benefit from streamlined video conferencing technology, making it easy for employees to connect without the complexity of a traditional meeting room setup.
Event and Presentation Space
A dedicated event space was equipped to support presentations, group sessions and larger collaborative gatherings. Integrated displays, cameras, microphones and distributed audio provide the flexibility to communicate clearly with both in-person and remote participants.
Reception, Digital Signage and Communal Areas
Display Manager also delivered display and digital signage solutions across reception areas, floors and the coffee bar. These provide opportunities to share information, communicate messages and support the wider workplace experience.
Room booking panels were installed to help employees identify and manage meeting spaces more easily.
Making Existing Technology Work Harder
Where appropriate, existing owner-furnished equipment was retained and integrated into the new solution. This helped Publicis make better use of its existing technology investment while delivering a refreshed, more consistent workplace experience.
The Results
The project has delivered a more consistent and flexible audio visual environment across Publicis Sapient’s Turnmills offices. Key benefits include:
