It was an opportunity to create a workplace that embodied the ambition, confidence and sophistication of one of Europe’s leading private equity firms.  An environment designed to inspire collaboration, impress clients and leave a lasting impression on investors.

Every detail mattered

The technology had to be as considered as the architecture itself; creatively designed, intelligently integrated and carefully blended within every meeting space.  Rather than distracting from the building’s sleek interior, it needed to become an integral part of the design while delivering a seamless, world-class workplace experience.

The approach

The technology solution was developed as an integral part of the architectural vision, with design and creativity influencing every decision. Rather than treating AV and IT as separate additions, Display Manager worked alongside the design and fit-out teams to create technology that enhanced the character of the space while remaining discreet. From bespoke integration and concealed infrastructure to thoughtfully positioned displays, discreet audio devices and control systems - every element was considered as part of the overall interior design. The Solution

Display Manager delivered a complete workplace technology solution designed to complement one of London's most sophisticated office environments. Rather than treating AV as an addition, the technology was integrated into the architectural fabric from the earliest stages of the fit-out.

Throughout the head office, clean wall finishes conceal high-performance audio systems, recessed displays preserve uninterrupted sightlines, and discreet touch panels provide intuitive room control without interrupting the minimalist interior design.

Glass meeting rooms retain an open, collaborative feel while advanced acoustic design ensures exceptional speech intelligibility for both in-room participants and remote attendees. The result is an environment where modern architecture and enterprise technology work together to create effortless collaboration.

Every meeting space, regardless of size, delivers exactly the same intuitive experience while maintaining the elegant simplicity of the surrounding interior.

The architecture combines expansive glass partitions, elegant stone finishes, clean geometric lines and beautifully lit open spaces to create a calm, contemporary workplace. Every surface has been carefully considered, delivering an atmosphere of quality, precision and understated luxury.

The challenge was to ensure the technology complemented this architectural vision rather than competing with it.  Rather than filling rooms with visible equipment, exposed cabling and complex controls, Oakley Capital wanted technology that became part of the building itself; available instantly when required, yet virtually invisible the rest of the time.

The objectives were to:

• Integrate technology discreetly within the building's premium architecture

The Vision

Every aspect of the workplace was designed around the experience of the people using it. From the light-filled reception and glass-lined corridors through to executive boardrooms and presentation spaces, the environment communicates openness, transparency and confidence. Natural light floods into the building through large architectural windows, while minimalist detailing and carefully selected materials create an elegant backdrop for collaboration.

Technology needed to support this experience without becoming visually dominant.

Displays are recessed into architectural wall finishes. Speakers and microphones disappear into ceilings. Touch panels sit flush within walls. Cabling and equipment are completely concealed.

Prestigious Presentation Suite

The presentation suite perfectly showcases the seamless relationship between architecture and workplace technology. Designed as an executive boardroom, investor presentation suite and corporate hospitality space, every element has been carefully considered to create an environment that is both visually striking and highly functional.

At the heart of the room is a stunning 9 x 3metre LED video wall, providing an immersive focal point for presentations, financial reporting, live demonstrations and global video conferencing. Despite its scale, the technology doesn’t overwhelm the space. Intelligent engineering conceals the infrastructure beneath the floor, behind the LED wall and above the ceiling, while integrated ceiling microphones and speakers deliver exceptional audio performance without disrupting the clean architectural lines.

The interior itself is equally impressive. Rich, textured deep-red walls provide warmth and acoustic treatment, contrasting beautifully with the smooth flooring, high-gloss tables and elegant curved ceiling feature. Exposed concrete columns and large arched windows introduce character and natural light, while the sweeping curved ceiling light form mirrors crescent-shaped table and leather seating below. Every material has been selected to balance texture, light and form, resulting in a space that feels contemporary, luxurious and welcoming.

The bespoke curved boardroom table comfortably accommodates up to 16 delegates, complemented by soft leather lounge seating positioned to maximise views of the display. The space supports executive meetings, investor presentations and hybrid collaboration for up to 90 participants, connecting seamlessly with Oakley Capital's international offices through integrated Microsoft Teams and Zoom technology.

The room effortlessly transforms to suit different occasions. At the touch of a button, expansive motorised red curtains glide across the arched windows to create a more intimate setting. Concealed behind elegant red and silver architectural panels, a fully integrated bar is revealed for client hospitality and corporate events. Combined with adjustable feature lighting, informal seating areas and the immersive LED display, the suite transitions seamlessly from high-level boardroom to sophisticated event venue.
The result is a presentation environment where architecture and technology work as one, delivering an exceptional experience without compromising the elegance, openness or character of the space.

Meeting Rooms

Oakley Capital headquarters include 19 meeting rooms ranging from small, medium and large 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 & 16 person rooms) together with executive offices.

Every meeting room is equipped with Microsoft Teams video conferencing, intuitive Crestron touch-screen control and professional-grade displays, enabling employees and visitors to walk into any room and immediately know how to use the technology. As room sizes increase, the audiovisual solution scales accordingly, incorporating larger displays, intelligent PTZ cameras, ceiling microphone arrays and distributed speaker systems to ensure exceptional audio and video quality for both in-room and remote participants.

The result is the same high quality meeting experience in every meeting room regardless of size. Technology is intuitive and easy to use, meetings start at the touch of button.
