Integrated AV Solutions for Pladis UK Headquarters
Background
Pladis is a global snacking company and the home of well-known brands including McVitie’s, Ülker and GODIVA. For its UK headquarters, the business invested in a high-profile workplace project designed to support collaboration, communication and more flexible ways of working.
Working alongside consultant PTS, Display Manager was appointed to deliver an extensive audio visual installation, with AV systems representing a significant proportion of the overall project.
The Vision
The project required a coordinated technology solution across a variety of working environments, from a large town hall space for company-wide presentations and events to executive boardroom facilities, training areas and everyday meeting rooms.
The technology needed to support different meeting formats, presentations and collaborative activities, while providing the flexibility to accommodate changing workplace requirements. Integrated workplace management technology was also required to help employees navigate the office and book meeting rooms, desks and visitors.
Our Solution
A high quality, consistent experience in every meeting space
Display Manager delivered an integrated AV solution across the headquarters, combining large-format LED technology, audio, lighting, video distribution, Microsoft Teams collaboration and workplace management systems.
A Central Space for Collaboration and Communication
At the heart of the project was The Heart, a dedicated town hall space designed for company-wide presentations, events and collaborative gatherings.
A 140-inch Samsung LED display was installed alongside sophisticated audio and lighting systems, with Audio over IP (AVoIP) distribution providing the flexibility to route content throughout the space. This integrated approach allows the environment to support a variety of presentation and event requirements.
Boardroom and Flexible Training Facilities
The installation extended into the boardroom and a divisible training space, providing technology to support meetings, presentations and training sessions.
The divisible configuration enables the training area to adapt to different uses, helping the business make effective use of its available space.
Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms
Display Manager equipped 30 meeting rooms with technology to support Microsoft Teams meetings and presentations, creating dedicated spaces for day-to-day collaboration and communication.
Integrated Workplace Management
To complement the AV installation, a workplace management system was integrated to support wayfinding, room and desk booking, and visitor management.
Bringing these capabilities together helped create a more connected workplace, supporting flexible working arrangements and simplifying the experience for employees and visitors.
The Result
Display Manager delivered a comprehensive workplace technology installation spanning the headquarters' principal collaboration, presentation, training and meeting spaces.
The combination of large-format LED display technology, integrated audio and lighting, flexible AV distribution, Microsoft Teams facilities and workplace management systems provided a joined-up technology environment designed around the needs of a modern workplace.
